Through our Case Management Program , families work closely with our Family Support Specialist to receive support in the area of parenting. Families are first assessed using our Parent Empowerment Assessment Tool , which leads to the creation of a Family Plan. The Family Support Specialist then guides parents to the services and resources to carry out their family plan and meet their needs as parents.
The goals of this program are:
Increase parent knowledge and skill in using positive parenting techniques
Increase parents' ability to access needed resources
Strengthen bond between parents and children
Increase parent enrollment and participation in programs and activities that promote support of children's positive development
