Diana Gilbert, President

Diana Gilbert is a CPA with over 18 years of audit, corporate and operational finance experience. Diana is currently a consultant with RoseRyan. She graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting. Diana is a long time volunteer with the Junior League of San Jose & KTEH Public Television. She has served in a wide variety of roles for JLSJ ranging from community projects to fundraising and finance to membership, including serving on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors for a number of years and co-chairing its primary fundraiser.

David Okazaki, Vice President

David is a Vice President & Relationship Manager at Manufacturers Bank in San Jose. He has been a commercial banker for over 32 years. David grew up in the Fresno/Fowler area and attended San Francisco State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications Arts. He is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
David has been active in the community through his current and previous banking positions. He also serves on the board of directors for Lenders for Community Development (LCD).

Sonia Avitia, Secretary

Sonia Avitia is a lon-time resident of East San Jose. She is currently the Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She has worked with several non-profit organizations in the past and has an extensive career working with elected officials. She served as Senator John Vasconcellos's Executive Assistant for four years and worked for Supervisor Blanca Alvarado and Mayor Ron Gonzalez. She is very passionate about supporting the community and strongly believes in the importance of promoting early literacy. |

Najoo Anne Wadia, Treasurer

Anne Wadia is a Senior Group Manager in Corporate Marketing at Adobe Systems Incorporated. Over the last 15 years she has held various marketing and management positions. She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance and an MBA with emphasis in Marketing from Santa Clara University. Anne was born and raised in Peru. |

Lynn Boskie

Lynn Boskie is the Principal at San Antonio Elementary School in the Alum Rock Elementary Union School District. Prior to coming to San Antonio, Lynn taught second and third grades and special education for 13 years at Lester Shields Elementary School. In addition to teaching, she coached softball for nine years. Lynn has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree in Education from San Jose State University. |

Edgardo Cabrales

Edgardo Cabrales is a business owner and an East San Jose resident. He was born and raised in Mexico and holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Prior to immigrating to the Bay Area, he worked in several government agencies that help agricultural communities improve their quality of life. He developed curriculum and trained rural communities in acquiring improved techniques to use resources available to them. He has a great interest in community service that empowers low-income individuals and families. |

Rosa Ruiz

Rosa has lived on the East side of San José since 1973 and has been involved with the Grail since 1975. She works as a registered nurse for the county of Santa Clara providing medical services through a clinic in East San José. She also has experience working with women's groups and with youth. She has a daughter who challenges her to grow on a daily basis.

Duanne Welsch

Duanne Welsch is a retired senior administrative analyst from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been a Grail member since 1960 and has served on the National Finance Committee and Development Committee. Duanne has a BA in Geography from UC Berkeley and an MPA from the University of San Francisco. |
